A home and employment has the power to transform lives. It helps us remain physically and mentally healthy, and provides the space from where we can work, achieve our aspirations and build relationships in our communities. Successive governments have invested in support to help people who face disadvantage. Local authorities, charities and other agencies across England have worked hard to make sure the right support is there for people when they need it. Yet the employment support on offer is failing those who are vulnerable and furthest from the job market and there are still thousands of people who don’t have the right accommodation.

We are a passionate and determined team who support ongoing change to the lives of those we work with. By taking a person-centred approach, we work alongside specialist support services to ensure that all needs are being met. By providing opportunities and meaningful activity we support individuals out of homelessness and into a fulfilling life.

We believe that a decent job can be a major route out of homelessness and a criminal activity and that employment programmes need to recognise aspirations, inspire people to develop their skills, and support those who are furthest away from getting a job.

We believe that relationships are key to change. LEAP would not be what it is without partnership. We aspire to enable those who face disadvantage to lead a fulfilling life and therefore we commit to sharing our expertise and best practice.

We believe in empowering our clients by setting clear expectations and boundaries. We believe that being accountable to words and actions is extremely important and therefore we are open to feedback and committed to changing our practice for the better.

We’re passionate about social enterprise. We believe that our social and commercial message are completely enmeshed. We can’t achieve our social aims without the business working and we can’t be a viable business without achieving our social aims. Our social mission is threaded through absolutely everything we do.

We think that everybody deserves to be treated with dignity and respect no matter what their background or past circumstances. We provide a safe, non- judgemental environment for people to realise their potential.

At LEAP we are innovative, flexible and always striving to find new ways of working to achieve the best possible results.
